• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

Unfortunately my 2.5 Ghz broadband doesn't work well in the garage. No matter, we took both our S2S's (23+24) in to Extreme Propulsion in Cartersville GA for oil changes plus the new update on my 2024 screen. Also had them do a full check on both for the air bag rear suspension. Also, mine needed the steering angle sensor adjusted post the alignment that they had previously performed. BTW they are one of the premier dealerships in the Southeast... handle the full line of BRP EXCEPT snow mobiles! HAHA. The Spyder tech is very good... Ask for AJ if you want to get your RT serviced. He is really good.:)
Both Spyders are all good now and my screen def shows the 4.0.1 update, B4 I erred in looking... CSS isn't the screen firmware (what I had previously posted... my bad!)
I also ordered the Lamonster Ram mount with 1" ball that mounts using the 2 bolts on the center of the handlebars, along with a phone mount and short clamp so that we can have 2 Spyders with Maps running. On my 2024, I only connect the phone to my Sena 50S helmet set, nothing else. This to avoid any issues with the BT/USB memory crashes/freezes that stupid screen has suffered from Day1. I have been told that it is fixed now, but I still am not trusting Can-Am to have done a good job of that.

FYI, you can make your phone a hotspot and connect the Spyder to that for future updates.

Same here, last I looked. I'll look again, maybe try to ride up right next to the house and see about a wifi connection to let it update the update. Heck if I know. 🙃

Pulled up in the yard right near the house and updated the update. Somewhere in the process the screen flashed a command to keep the engine running, so I did. I spent years and years on air-cooled bikes so I was a little uncomfortable with the bike idling that long, but the fan was kicking off and on so I figured there was nothing to worry about.
Thanks a bunch to all of you who've offered suggestions and patiently coached along, I sure do appreciate the help.

Sarah
