There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Brake pedal?

Questions

New member
When I test rode a Spyder RT, I found that my right foot when placed where I normally place it on the peg on other trikes/bikes came in contact with the brake pedal and that I had to place my toes (only) on the peg to keep from riding the brake. This isn't comfortable for any length of time. Is the brake pedal adjustable to lower it a bit?

welcome
Not sure how big your feet are but I don't have a problem with the brake. You may just need more time on the Spyder. The pedal is not adjustable.

I wear a size 9 1/2 boot and don't have the problem on other motorcycles or trikes. At any rate, I see that an aftermarket supplier offers an extended brake pedal. That might work for me.

One of the complaints test riders had with the pre-production Spyders was that the brake pedal was mounted too high and that it was too easy to ride the brake unknowingly. On the production bikes the pedal was lowered slightly. I still think it is a bit too high, but after some time you should get used to it.

Thanks. The one that I rode was part of the BRP traveling circus and may have been a pre-production example. If I sell my RoadSmith (I'm not really trying), I will test ride another Spyder RT-S
