Oh my goodness, I can't believe that it's Friday. This week has been a blur.
Well, Yes I am getting older but I'm still enjoying the good life.

Currently cloudy sky at 67°F. No Spyder Ryde Time today because of visiting family. Also this is my daughter's birthday. She is married and doing well, thank you.

Today's high will be 83°F and some sunshine .
Low at 64°F with afternoon chances of getting a little rain.

Bright sunshine, light breeze, and 67 degrees here on Fidalgo Island. The high today will be 76 and overnight low will be 58 degrees. It'll be a topless day today. Going to cross the Deception Pass bridge to Whidbey Island to visit an old friend who lives there. Mobility issues (and age) caused me to put cycling in my rear-view mirror. I was fortunate to have over 50 years of 2 and 3 wheel riding. Lots of great memories touring both solo and with friends. My riding buddies are all gone now. I do miss them and riding but still get wind therapy in my old blue pony. Stay safe..... Jim

Yes, Welcome to the Weekend of August. Yesterday evening we had some rain showers.
Just enough to make everything wet and increased the humidity 20%. This morning around 5:30am
we had some more rain showers. Now I have several large puddles of water areas in my yard.
My yard is extremely saturated with water.


Currently mostly clear sky and 68°F. Humidity is not friendly at 92%. Going to be a beautiful dry sunshine day.
A lot of schools are having sports events this weekend. I actually enjoy the schools and their sports team.

Cloudy when I got up at the crack of 8 AM! Now it's gotten wet outside. Not really raining very hard but more than a mist. I'd categorize it as a drizzle. Humidity is 87% and there is a 5-7 MPH breeze. It's supposed to dry up this afternoon. The lawns around here sure need this moisture. They're mostly brown. Mother Nature usually keeps things looking pretty green in this part of the world. But the last couple of months have only seen two or three wet days. Yard sprinkler systems common in Arizona are non-existent around here. Tomorrow it'll be 2 months since I left home in the desert. Today, I think I'll have to dig out my jacket for the first time since forever. Stay safe..... Jim

Welcome back from the Weekend here in Indiana. Currently cloudy sky at 57°F. The humidity is terrible at 98% this morning.
My friends and family enjoyed the Saturday afternoon BDAY celebration for my daughter.
No real fuss on that, but she enjoyed the time.

Today is going to be another great day with sunshine . Gotta Love it.
High of 78°F with sun.
Low at 57°F. No rain here.

Good sleeping temperatures are starting to come to Indiana. Anything below 70°F is the number.
I will try to get out there and enjoy some Spyder Ryde Times.

I hope you had a nice weekend and did something that works for you. Maybe even a Spyder Ryde Time.
All is going well here for me. Still No Issues with flooding for me. Several friends are still dealing with Flooding.
Most people don't have Flood insurance. The Governor of Indiana has said that Funds will be able.
Hopefully everyone that has a Need will sign up and get Help with the damages.

After 2 mornings of soggy, wet weather we're seeing nothing but sunshine here on Fidalgo Island today. The high today will be 73°. Humidity is currently 83% and there is a 3-4 MPH breeze. No rain in the forecast. Good day for a little topless sightseeing. Stay safe..... Jim

Went out today. The Spyder said it was up to 102°F on the black tarmac surfaced roads.

Just too much at my age. Let's hope it starts to cool off now that we are approaching September.

When I stopped at the lights, I started to cook. The weather service said it was mid 90's °F, but locally, it was definitely hotter.

The weather forecast doesn't show much hope for the next week though.

Woke up this morning with dew point reading in upper 50's which is rare these days in this part of the country. Highs today predicted in mid 80's so feels like (heat index) only a degree more than actual. Definitely will enjoy today's ride.

Overcast this morning in Anacortes. It's supposed to become partly sunny this afternoon with a high of 70 degrees. Humidity is 80%. There is no rain forecast for today. My summer rental here in Western Washington comes to a screeching end on September 3rd. The last couple of months have flown by. I just checked the weather back home in the desert. It'll be 115+ degrees today. I'm not ready for that! Going to take a slow road back to Arid-Zone-A.

Well yesterday's sunshine was great at 83°F. Currently we have lite fog in certain low areas. Once the sun comes up it will burn off the fog.

The temperature this morning is 65°F.
No rain in our forecast here today.

Well, don't come back slowly through Utah. It might not be 115°F, but it's still stinking hot. It doesn't seem that it's going to be any better next week, either.

Except for the congested SLC area, I usually travel Utah on 89. I enjoy the more leisurely pace as opposed to the 80 MPH speed of the big road. Coming North this year, wildfires forced me to take I-15. I hope it's all okay now and cools a bit by the 2nd week of September...

Gray, cloudy day here in Western Washington. There have been a few leaks in the clouds but not enough to make the ground very wet. It's breezy, 8 MPH with gusts to 16. The high today will get to 70 degrees and there will be a few sun breaks, but not as nice as yesterday. Not a topless kind of day. Stay safe..... Jim

Finally Friday here in Indiana. Currently a little cloudy at 60°F. No rain here for today. I believe that it's a Spyder Ryde Time Day for me.

Most of the Indiana Flooding is under control. Now that the water has gone down river. But the major cleaning up is still pretty bad. Most people didn't have insurance coverage for Flooding.

The State of Indiana is starting a helping hand fund and raising money for Flooding victims. FEMA is starting to get involved, but this is always a very slow process. Anyhow I am Praying for genuine help for everyone who needs help and funding.

The forecast for Anacortes shows rain starting after 8PM tonight and lasting through most of the morning tomorrow. This morning it's partly sunny, humidity at 78% and light sea breeze. The high today will be 68 degrees. I'm now in the last week of my summer rental here on Fidalgo Island. It's been very enjoyable. Happy to not be in the desert heat. Yesterday's high and "low" at my house in Arid-Zone-A was 112/93. Stay safe..... Jim

Have a safe trip home. Of course, fires are still cropping up, but I think 89 will be fine. I too like 89. Looks like the temp's are actually going to be down into the 80's next week which will be nice to get some riding in.
