The next name on the 2026 Atlantic hurricane list is Dolly; A tropical wave being monitored by the National Hurricane Center has a high chance of development. If it strengthens into a tropical storm with winds reaching 39 mph, it will be named Tropical Storm Dolly.

I read today that she was worth around 600 million dollars. However, she would have been a billionaire, except she had given so much to various charities!

My local paper had an article regarding the books she sent out monthly. In the past 30 years, 300 MILLION books were sent to youngsters! That works out to approximately 200,000 books per week. All free, regardless of income.

She also left us one more song. It won't be released for a while, about 20 years.

Dolly Parton has left a special gift for the world to hear, it was revealed after an interview with Jimmy Fallon resurfaced.

During the 2022 interview, Parton told Fallon that she has a track that remains locked away in a time capsule at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Parton said she left strict instructions that the capsule must not be opened until 30 years later, aligning with either late 2045, or her 100th birthday on January 19, 2046.

"I don't know what they'll do with it," Parton said in the interview. "But I have regretted that because it was a really good song! I keep wanting them to let me dig it up and put something else in that's not as good."
