• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can I use the blank switch for Accessory power/spotlights on my 2023 F3S? What are the wires already attached?

I'm looking to fit manually switched spotlights to '23 F3S.
What is the blank switch cover on the dash (see photo)? I lifted it and it has 4 wires attached to a blanking plug - why??
I wanted to use this location with a flush fitting switch (like my heated grips switch on opposite side to ignition s/w)
Is there a part number for one of these switches?

Thanks.

That is the connection and installation location for the factory fog lights switch. It will work well for what you want.

Ahh... thanks.
What colours do what? It looks like there's four wires?
Where is the power delivered to/or where do I hook the spotlights into?
What colour is live & what is ground?

I'm not very techie, as you can tell..😄

Hey Bud. Would you like to just keep it simple? The wiring harness and relay are already installed on your F3 for mounting the lights in the factory location. That circuit has a low beam and fog light function. However, the factory kit is pretty pricey. 710 bucks US. Just the switch is $140. This kit is much more economical. Plug and play, including a nice looking switch for that spot… and you don’t have to go buy a multi-meter.
