• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ikon Front Shocks - Who Uses 'Em & What Do You Think?

While I haven't had an opportunity to try Bajaron's shocks, I have used a fair few of the other more expensive options that are available out there (and waaay too many of the OEM noodles!) and while my 2-up riding load might be a smidge heavier than yours, I've found Ikon shocks all round really suit my touring and my fairly aggressive 'non-touring' riding significantly better than anything else I've tried to date!! There's a reason that I recommend Ikon shocks to pretty much every Spyder Ryder I talk to about shocks at every opportunity, and I reckon you could do a lot worse AND spend more money on those others to boot!! ;)

Go On! DO IT! You know you want to! 😁
Why doesn't anyone mention the the shock spring construction, light , medium, heavy or 555 spring to their weight or what they purchased for the weight class and how they perform on settings?

If you talk to IKON, they will ask you all sorts of questions about your weight, load, riding style, what road surfaces you generally ride on, your shock/spring needs, wants, preferences, et al, so that they can make a recommendation about which spring type/weight and shocks/settings you should use. They are the experts on that, so I'd rather leave it up to them. (y)

There are a few shock Mfg. to choose for the Can Am Spyder RT, Limited, S2S. It isn't just the cost factor to concern the purchaser, but what is the performance the shock made for. The IKON (KONI) shock is a no frills beat it to a pulp for 50-100k miles with common sense basic quick adjustments, no nitrogen gas to dissipate or leak out over time, no over the top adjustment options made for racing, and no need to tinker with it every time you ride, single, 2 up, or pull a trailer. You pay for those adjustment features, which you will probably use once at install and then never again.
I did order a set of 7613-1006 with HD 555 springs for my 2023 Can Am Spyder RT limited with 14,500 miles, which has Continental ProContact front tires that just stick to the road, loaded with rider, passenger and stuff in saddle bags: rider-220lb, passenger 150lb, plus bag storage, and trailer tow. On my last 2 up ride with the trailer, I noticed how it wallowed and sunk in the turns with the stock shocks. Now, as a single rider at 220 lbs, my ride is still mushy in the turns/twisties, and it gets worse with 2 up. The current wait time is 4 weeks for me (as of 8/15/26) to build and ship them to the customer. No discounts or sales available, a set costs $775. Call Ikon, discuss how you use/need them built.
