• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone removed their Seat locking post?

I have not removed the locking pin as of yet but was just wondering if anyone else has done this in order to prevent not being able to access the fuel tank fill because of a cable failure. I'm not concerned about it being security issue because I don't leave it or go places where security issues would be an issue. If the front trunk were to fail there is an easy way to unlock it without breaking anything, but the seat is not.

.
Others have added emergency pull straps to the locks, it's just a matter of accessing it/doing it b4 it's too late!

I have done that to all three of my 2018 Spyder RTL's.

I would add that I use the frunk one quite often. I walk up to the Spyder and find it is easier to pull the backup release than it is getting my key out of my pocket.

Bicycle brake cables, both inner and outer parts cut to length to reach the wheel wells.
I remember seeing your post on how you used the cables in order to release the latches. You did a really good job on the way installed them. I'm going to do something similar for the frunk on mine. Thanks
