There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Does anyone know of the amp draw of the stock horn on the RT? - 2012 RT

The Operator's Guide for my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky shows the Horn fuse as being 15A.

What Ray said. The horn for the 2012 is powered by F8. But, F8 also powers all electrical loads downstream of the load shedding relay once the engine starts. So, hitting that circuit with an additional 7 amps might not be the best. I thought there might have been a relay kit someplace that somebody came up with, but no joy finding it. So, if you really want that horn, a horn relay, just like most vehicles, is the way to go.Does anyone know of the amp draw of the stock horn on the RT (998)?
I have a set of WOLO Maxi-Sound horns and they only draw 7amps. Just wondered if I have to install a relay or not.

While you’re at it, install a relay into the frunk pop switch. If it works currently, eventually the actuator load will burn the switch contacts and stop working. The switch is very hard to find and is expensive. This happened to mine. The harness is below the cubby, left side. I used the existing 12v that powered the switch to power the relay and load. Now the switch only has a small load to power the relay.
