There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Brooks Powersports in PA - reviews wanted - anyone had any experience with them?

Hello all, hope everyone is having a fine Sunday. I'm interested in a Can Am that Brooks Powersports in Grantville, PA has. I'm out of state so I can't see the trike in person, but they do have shipping available I'm told. I'm looking for any experience anyone may have had with them. Thanks.

Not personally. But, hundreds of 5 Star Google reviews. You had mentioned in another thread of being interested in a ST and that you had back and hip stuff going on. Welcome to that club. I was just going to try to talk you out of that specific unit, that's all. Noticed some things in the pictures that you should be aware of. On the other hand, there's this RT that just went up on the forum here. Johnny K's doesn't have anything that interests you, either? Closer.

I'm not sure what I want to be honest. I've considered keeping my BMW Z3 instead of a Spyder but it's so hard getting out of. A Spyder or Ryker would get me in the wind again at least. I never thought to look at the forum for sale thread so I'm glad you brought that to my attention. You say the ST on Brooks site has issues? Like what for instance? I could call them and see the response I get if I mention it to them. I keep an eye on iMotorsports also for something that could help me make a decision.

I use Brooks as my main go to when I can't do something myself with my F3. I live in Frederick, Md. and drive almost 2 hrs to use them even though I have another Can-Am dealer right down the street from me and pass by another one in Hanover on the way.

I refuse to use Motomember after they borked my reframe and basically made it "unable to align". Also, Diamond Motorsports in Delaware missed a bent pitman arm after my rear end accident.

Brook's has been the dealer that found these issues on what was missed by others and took care of it for me.

I consider Ryan and his team there one of the best in the region, and the dealership as a whole has made me feel welcome as a customer, even though I did not originally buy my F3 from them. If I get lucky and get some of my land sold this summer, I plan on getting a Canyon Redrock and I will go to Brooks for my purchase.

Thanks for the endorsement. That's pretty much what the on line reviews say also. It's sad there are not more dealers like that.

Well, I didn't mean"issues" as in something that the dealer would not want to talk about. Just, trying to read your mind and thinking of what you wouldn't be happy with. For example, it has a Two Brothers Racing exhaust, and, unless it's the lighting or shadows, what appears to be a RLS cat delete. So that means LOUD. And you know that you're going to want a better seat and more storage. So, I'd hate for you to run all the way over to the other side of Harrisburg just to find out in the first 30 seconds that it's not for you.

And besides, it's a 10 year old 998. Now, I know, there are hundreds, maybe thousands of people on here that have a soft spot for the 998, because it's the engine that turned us into Spyderlovers. But if they're honest, there are hundreds maybe thousands of people on here who celebrate the day that they got rid of the thing. Me included. So, if you have or will have the resources to buy spare parts for a 10 year old bike, especially if you let the Z3 go, wouldn't it be better to put those resources into newer and better in the beginning.

I'm sure Brooks is a great place. If you live north of Columbus, Johnny K's also has always treated me right, and it's closer to home for you. Plus there's the For Sale Forum. Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the heads up on the cat delete. That's one of those things you don't notice unless you own a Spyder I guess. I've had bikes with Two Brothers slip ons that sound great but not with a cat delete. As far as resources, I need to stay at 10 grand or less. Again thanks for the input.
