• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Did you ever get your ESI pegs installed without the movement?

Once the steering issue gets straightened away I have a list of mods to get and those are one of them.

Hi Wyliec, just curious, where do you take your spyder for service? I have only done 600 mile so far. Go to Bibbens in Weedsport, Like them alot. Rode about 300 miles with them this past October. Have 1,240 miles on '09 SM5.

Talked to Ingles for about an hour this afternoon at cycle show. Bought a Polaris Ranger from them 4 or five years ago. They also did a great job for me on the Ranger. Plows snow great.

I purchased my '08 sm5 from filers powersports in macedon, ny. Although bibbens would be closer for service, filers has given good service. The Ingles sales rep. gave me his card yesterday. Did you get a chance to talk to the BRP rep?

No. He wasn't there this afternoon when I was there. Talked to the Ingles rep for around an hour. Said they have sold 52 Spyders (i think) and none have had steering problems. Talked about the first ones built being sent mostly to the west coast and to warmer parts of the country. He rides a Spyder and seemed to be a good guy and knowledgeable.

Did you go on the ride from Bibbens in Oct. 2008?

No, I haven't been to Bibbens.

Yeah...I think I've got them straightened out somewhat

They both fold down completely now...the back ones are much looser than the stock pegs though...I don't know if I can maybe get some type of rubber spacer or something to tighten it up. I just know were I on the back I would not feel to secure with how loose it is.
