• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Flat Tires?

So far I haven't heard of many flats with the Spyder. It's been my experience with other vehicles that the front tire will kick up nails and screws etc. only to get caught in the rear tire. Since the Spyder's tires make individual tracks I'm thinking flats are less likely??:f_spider:

:pray:Haven't gotten any flats in 9900 miles.
But i would think with the rear tire running in the middle of the lane,
it's a flat waiting to happen [hope not]

Rear tire flat 5000 miles--Hit something in the road and cost me a new tire. You are right "a flat waiting to happen"nojoke

I had a rear flat early on in my spyder ownership, before the first Gatlinburg trip. My husband bought a plug kit and we plugged it where I had picked up a nail in the parking lot at work. I rode on that plug probably for 7000 miles. At about 13,000 miles, I put on a new rear tire and this time I added Ride On to all my tires.
