• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody put Elka Stage II shocks on a 2021 RTL? Spring down, or up?

Has anybody put these shocks on a 2021 RTL? They say spring down but it looks like it’s gonna hit the plastic trim on the upper A arm🤔

I don't think it matters which way you turn them, but getting to the dampening screw will matter. Put that where you can get to it if you want to make any adjustments!
You are correct. It doesn't matter, getting to the adjustment is exactly why they recommend spring down if I remember the install video I watched on the LaMonster Garage site.

I have just fitted a pair to my 2022 RTL and the instructions said to fit them spring down so that's what I did. Very happy with the handling and makes it easier to steer, even with the same tyres.

I had them on my 2014RT and mounted them spring down. No issue. Combined with the Baja Ron sway bar, the bike handled excellently.
