What are your thoughts on Magic Mirrors or Magnetic Mirror mounts for a 2016 RT Limited?

I wouldn't be without them. I don't understand the 10 Year no work policy. The motor is the same, the suspension is the same, the wheels and brakes are the same, the only real difference is the electronics and infotainment stuff.

Yes, my thoughts as well, but it’s been confirmed with other riders as well. I get it, if they damage a body panel it may be hard to find or even get. But everything else is somewhat the same mechanically!

crna59 your lucky to have a dealer who will work on a 2016, the one near Syracuse won’t even touch one over 10 years old. Looking forward to doing my own maintenance buying the magic mirrors and some other items from Lamonster. Then I will research oil but buy my filters and such from a supporting vendor from this site.

Agree! What about normal maintenance? No oil changes, tire replacements or services of any kind on a 10 year old machine? My crystal ball tells me that if a business refuses to service or repair a product over ten years old, then that business may not exist much longer than ten years. My dad's business survived for many years because he worked on just about any automotive product that rolled through the door, and most of his customers were repeat customers. He worked well into his 70's and several of his customers were third generation customers.

They are a BRP dealer and Polaris
They claim if they service a machine over 10 years old and damage something parts are not available. But I do agree on oil changes, tires and engine service should be done. But they are standing firm on this 10 year thing, it’s a head scratcher because there’s money in service.

If you're a business owner and you adhere to the 10 rule, you are creating business for another shop owner. JMHO
