Anyone out there have one they no longer have a use for, used or otherwise?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

- the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
- if you add any pics, the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a space or three between each image (having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your Ad's 1st post appear on the index page - which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting an extra pic or two in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks will satisfy the first point above
); - do not discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
- the need to properly finalise the Ad by marking it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything or just don't want the Ad live any longer!

, hadn't yet looked at aftermarket! Trying to go lowest cost with a used OEM... but yes Al in Kazoo, best is better!
I thought when placing the original post it would automatically enroll me with emailed responses. Hmm? With the new-to-me changes to the forum sponsor(?) I don't yet know how to manually subscribe? Anyone? Peter?

No changes to the Forum Owner/Operator tho, it's still (effectively, anyway) Lamont, from Lamonster Garage, altho you are correct in noticing that we don't have any 'Forum Sponsors' or 'Advertising' as such here any more, but that happened before the platform change - here's a thread about it from the Forum Support and Testing sub-forum:

Thanks Peter! After sending that last, I did see
that button, and it did say "unwatch", which puzzled me 
Why I hadn't gotten the prior responses confirming what I originally mentioned, I don't know; I did get yours this time. I also looked in my (Gmail) spam folder and elsewhere, nothing found. In any event, problem solved, and thanks again!Similar threads
