• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

question on this for tire repair kit to carry with...

I have the stop 'n go kit too-- never had to use it--- but seems like a nice kit and doesn't take up much room at all.

I kind of like the Co2 carts--- got pellet guns that take the same thing.

Maybe not a hybrid Spyder- but an electric could really rock off the line!

Let's say you're out riding and your group rides over a road just filled with nails...I mean, they're everywhere...you have 3 or 4 little CO2 tanks with you...you won't get the job done...have a compressor and you can help everyone out and be the hero of your group...everyone will probably pitch in and get you a soda at the next stop! Plus, you won't have to take the extra trip to the dumpster to throw away your soon-to-be rusting canisters...the riders you're with might not like that too much! :D

It's a win/win all the way around...

Metal CO2 canisters along the side of a road turn into bullets when struck by mower blades. Might be an issue of Red not Green.nojoke

You guys got to be kidding. CO2 carttridges are not canisters or tanks,
They will not be all over the grass or filling dumps.
Just how offen do you get flats to begin with?

Starting to sound like a lot of RALPH NADER types are into Spyders.:ohyea::ohyea:

Hey, what's wrong with Ralph Nader? Although I do have to admit I prefer Ralph Lauren!

Yeah, there could be these little canisters everywhere...and they could be quite dangerous! Word has it that birds try to eat them and choke on them...another reason to go with a small compressor...it's reusable and doesn't leave debris along the road or fill dumpsters...the thing weighs 2.2 pounds and takes up virtually no room in the trunk of the Spyder...tiny lil' thing...all the canisters you'd have to carry for everyone would really add up in size and weight...plus, many would say that you're full of hot air, esp. if you're riding in hot weather! :yikes:
 
This may be one of the silliest discussions I have ever heard. :D Green or not, hazardous, bird food??? I prefer a compressor for one simple reason, cartridges are a pain. You have to use several to fill a tire enough to ride, and then you may still need to seek out a compressor to finish the job. For the Spyder or my truck, a compressor is great. The bikes have no room for such luxuries, however, so CO2 cylinders still have a place. Use whatever fits your needs and makes you grin, folks.

If only HDX would see it that way but I guess he never will! To each their own...even though the compressor is a 'much better' option, people will do what they want and that's what makes this country so great! (enough said)
