• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was good weather again so we took another ride. Me and the wife got on my RTL. Left Yakima went up the Yakima River Canyon to Ellensburg. Then North up Hwy 97 to the cut off to either go to Leavenworth or Wenatchee. Turned right and headed to Wenatchee. Stopped in Cashmere, ate a burger, then on to Wenatchee and crossed the Columbia River. Turned Right and headed to Quincy on Hwy 28. Turned South at Quincy, headed down to George. Got on I 90 to Vantage, then onto the old Hwy at Vantage to go to Ellensburg. Up on top the hill is the Wild Horse Wind Machine Information Center. We turned off the old road and went 3 1/2 miles up the hill to it, only to find it was still closed, opens in April. We went back down to the road and onto Ellensburg. Stopped at Starbucks, had a cold drink. Went thru Ellensburg, back to the Yakima River Canyon and back to Yakima. We got plenty warm and had to shed some clothes along the way. All in all, it was a good ride. Just past the Roza Dam at the South end of the Yakima River Canyon, we saw the big horn sheep up on the rock walls. There were a couple baby sheep that looked like a couple of weeks old. There were a couple of Rangers there with a spotting scope looking at them. Great ride, about 240 miles around the loop I think. Mileage doesn't really matter when you're having a good time out riding.

Sounds like it was an awesome ride..
It was a really good ride. Barely any wind in a couple of places, but all in all, no wind, just warm - 76 degrees I think it was. Our next ride will be down and out behind Goldendale. Then along the Columbia River and back up the Horse Heaven Hills. Next week I think.

That's a nice ride and it's nice you didn't get a lot of wind. The wind can really sail down those canyons. Had a couple white knuckle rides on two wheels crossing the bridge at Vantage. Lots of beautiful country on the East side.

Yes, been in some nasty winds along the Columbia River and in the lower part of the State. Soon be a ride up and across Hwy 2 and around Grand Coulee Dam.
