• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2021 RT Passenger grips are not very warm and the illuminated switch is very dull compared to the heated seat switch next to it - any ideas?

Hi Everyone. I'm in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK.
My wife is concerned that the passenger grips on our 2021 RT are not efficient and just don't get hot enough to warm her hands, unlike the rider grips. The grips switch doesn't illuminate properly unlike the seat switch that's next to it. The grips do warm up, only not much, so her hands are cold when we're riding in low temps. Is this normal? Any ideas?

Same as on my '22 RTL. The light is dim and the grips not very hot. Wife wears motorcycle rechargeable battery heated gloves, she loves them. Gloves need to be wind proof, water proof, and insulated to be effective in keeping hands warm if they're not heated.

Interesting. My ‘19 warmers are too hot, even on low. I have to turn them off for a bit too cool back down every so often.

I'll have to go look at mine, but I almost think there are different settings on mine, where I don't use or ride back there - I'll have to look! This is a head scratcher, what would stop those things from only giving you half power? Do they have some sort of potentiometer to regulate the voltage and limit the heat? Or maybe it's all in the switch and the switch may be bad? I guess a person would have to give it a look and see what makes it tick!!! good luck!!!

Two position rocker switch. Two heater elements in each grip. Engine must be running. Probably need to pull some bodywork off to check the wiring. See if this helps.

Edited for accuracy.
