How can I access 2024 RT Limited Reverse light and indicator bulbs to swap for LED's?

Has anyone got any information on how to even get to these bulbs to swap them out for LED? I can't see how to remove the plastic around the side boxes to even get at the lamp holders. If someone has a 2024 service manual could they please copy the page regarding this proceure? Cheers! Lexxy.

Go to Sling Mods and look at the install video for the AfterBurner lights. That will show you how to get the side covers loose from the rear deck (except on the 2024 all the screws are T-25 and no plastic screw plugs). Once you have done that there are two tiny screws with a bolt type head on each side at the top, they are silver colored. Once those are removed the entire back panel pops off with 10 clips. All the rear lights are LED except for maybe the reverse light (I haven't checked).

Thanks heaps for that. I'll give it a go.

Ok so the amber LED indicators I've changed (they are incandescent probably due to Australian Design Rules). The reverse lamp though seems to be screwed under the plastic top cover which itself is riveted to the metal underneath so I can't for the life of me see how that can be replaced.

I have not been in that far yet. I got my hitch kit last week from BRP and it was missing a harness so I had to send it back and order another one. It gets here Tuesday so I should be getting in there right after that and I will see what's there.

That would be great if you can see how to get in there. Cheers.

I am in that far now and see what you mean. It has been too cold to continue but I should get in there in the next day or so. They did not make this easy. I think there are two torx fasteners on either side that will allow that back sub panel to move out from under that lip and if so I can get that screw out of the top of the fixture. As best I can tell once you get it out there is a bulb access in the rear. In the parts list it i just a replaceable assembly for about $65. The turn indicators are bulbs (amber) but I beleive the tail and brakes are LED.

Yeah I have had a couple of looks again and I'm seeing the same as what you are. The screw at the top of the fixture is one of three. There are two more at the base of the light that screw straight down from above. I have moved the sub panel on mine by removing the two torx fasteners that you suggest. They are 5.5mm. They do allow the subpanel to move (multiple clips as well behind it that come undone by just pulling forward. Unfortunately the reverse lamp housing remains attached to the metal frame even after the panel is removed. So I'm thinking somehow trying to turn the lamp holder / bulb access and squeeze the old globe out without removing the housing itself.

Yeah I see what you mean. I did get mine out. I used a smaller T20 to wedge in under the lip to get the top screw out. Then I found two push buttons to release the bottom arms and got it out. The bulb is a 21 watt Osram 64136 and they are about $9 at my local Adavance Atuo parts.

That's where I was thinking I need to go. I was going to try drilling a small hole to access the top screw but I prefer your idea of wedging the T20 underneath the edge. 👍🏻👍🏻

I replaced my reversing bulb (Back up light) with an LED on my 2018 F3T
The existing bulb is quite small and the one I got fitted without any problem with no errors
The LED bulb was:

REVERSING BULB LED F3T
H21W BAY9s WHITE 5630 LED CAN OBC ERROR FREE NEW bulb

This is a lot brighter than the OEM bulb
