• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It Started off as a Nice Summer Day

Hello Spyder Lovers, the boss and I had to go out for some Christmas shopping Wednesday, it started with the weather cloudy with blue sky  we can go for a ride it is not raining, as you can guess how wrong we were on the way home, ⛈️⛈️🌦️🌦️ interestingly enough we have both started using the INNOVV H5 helmet camera so I decided to post a short clip of the ride in the wet and on my Spyder I have just recently had to replace its shoes and ended up choosing Kenda Kanines had a good deal you will also see how much water they pump out and yes they grip very well.
Why the INNOVV H5 helmet camera, as some of you know I also have a K5 Dash Cam you can only see front and rear now with the helmet camera you can also pick up the sides, the other reason for the H5 helmet camera five hour battery life and 512sd card and with a battery pack you can record all day.

I live in the hinterland if I flood here Brisbane will be under water as well as the Sunshine coast

That's one of the reasons I live in the Hills outside of Adelaide - South Oz might be the driest State on the driest Continent (apart from Antarctica anyway! :p), so we don't (usually) see a heap of rain here, but when we do...

"... a land of droughts, and flooding rains..." 😁

I was just glad there was no hail during the ride which arrived after we had got home.

Oh Yeah!

Not sure that both/either are from this latest lot of storms & floods up your way Dutchy; and while the first one (with the tree) is definitely from Brisbane, I suspect the second one (car windscreen) is from Sydney earlier this year; but they've both come up again in the News Feed about your recent storms & floods - and we all know that if it's on the internet...

Can't you just imagine getting hit full on in your helmet or chest by one of those big suckers while you're doing 80+ kph down the road on your Spyder?? 'Ouch' just wouldn't cover it!! 😖

Ah, the great Aussie weather. A few years ago I was hit by a hailstorm out on the highway. It hurt. My helmet saved my head but my arms were badly bruised through my Cordura jacket. To add insult to injury straight after that I was passing a stock truck add copped a load off fresh cattle manure.
Luckily before I reached home there was a heavy downpour which washed me off.
The hail was nearly as hurty as being hit in the helmet by a pelican.
At least now that I ride a Spyder I will have an easier time staying upright, and now my wife can share the pleasures.:D
