There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The F3L is the most "upline" version of the F3. It has a few more "bells and whistles." Real chrome for the "chrome" package. I believe the main difference between the F3T and the F3L was the addition of a "travel trunk" on the back. The T model just came with saddle bags. Since we are talking 2016 here, I am guessing the tittle has the correct description of the model. Previous owners may have added F3L bags instead of the standard bags on the T model. I believe the only difference was the "F3L logo."

In 2016 I bought an F3 Limited, had it 3 1/2 years and put 52,000 (maybe 54K, I forget) miles on it. That was my favorite Spyder.
The 2016 F3 Limited did not come with a top box. That wasn't introduced till 2017. What color is it? The biggest and most noticeable difference is the chrome. You'll have a lot of it, wheels, muffler heat shield and end cap, you'll have a chrome piece on both sides by the driver floorboards. You'll also have floorboards (the T has pegs). And the saddlebag will say Limited. And in the grill, there'll be a small label that says Limited.
On the T, there will be foot pegs and no chrome. Also, depending on the color, the tail piece and where your gas tank is, will be black.
Post a few pictures.

You indeed do have a Limited. In addition to the chrome pieces and floorboards, you should have heated grips, which is an option on the F3T. By having a 2016 F3L, you also get the larger rear sprocket. The later year F3L have the smaller one.

I had a 2018 F3T that I bought used the end of 2019. The previous owner (who worked at my Can-Am dealership) turned it into a Limited by adding the floorboards and trunk. He also added the heated grips. Trying to remember if he added anything else. So that is why my title indicated F3T, not F3L. For all intents and purposes mine was a Limited but it didn't start out that way. Hope that helps.

I have a 2023 F3 LTD SS (brought brand new at the end of May this year).
It has fog lights, top case with luggage rack, automatic air ride suspension, U-fit system, comfort seat, and adjustable handlebars.
