• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it true? Are the Spyder 1330cc Rotax engines built in MEXICO now???

Hello everybody,

I just went to change my 2017 Daytona Spyder for a new one, and my dealer told me not do that as it would be a mistake! They said that old ROTAX engines are much better.

Is it true that 2023-2024 Rotax are made in Mexico not in Austria?

Regards,

Sergiu

Well, according to Google Search in 2007 BRP opened up a factory in Mexico to make Rotax engines for their ATVs. Sooooooo they could be making engines for the Spyders. Not sure if my local Spyder Dealer will want to talk. Just saying.

Making or assembling?
My 2022 Rotax has a stamp or tag on the engine case that says made in Austria.
