How do I put my 2022 F3-Ltd Special into Sport Mode?

I was told, when I bought this trike, it had a sport mode on it. I have never been able to get into the mode and need some help. :banghead:

To my knowledge ONLY the F3S (NOT the LTD or Touring) gets the "Sport" mode....

As a former F3L owner, I think the F3 is as "zippy" as I ever needed.

Info about F3S is correct as far as I know.

As the others stated, it is not an option. I have an F3-Limited and that is not an option.

No, that is not true, tflatt. The F3-S (stands for sport), while your F3 Limited-S stands for Special. This means cosmetic differences only over the F3 Limited. Things like different front wheels, removable driver backrest, luggage rack on trunk etc. As others have said, the Sport model is the only F3 model that comes with Sport mode.

Nope, nada, no way Jose... So many variations over the years, salesman forget or don't remember which upgrades or features came with which model. The 'Special' means different paint, rims, or other features, NOT Sport Mode! That hasn't been available on F3's since the 2020 model year - more like the 2016-2018 years.

I also have a 2023 F3 Ltd SS and it has ECO mode.


The ECO mode is a driving setting that priorities fuel efficiency by adjusting the engines throttle response to deliver smoother power delivery and encourage a more economical riding style.

Some models may include a gauge light to indicate the ideal time shift points for maximum fuel efficiently.

When in ECO mode, the throttle will react more gradually to input, preventing sudden acceleration.



The 2022 F3 S had the following Main Features:

Speedometer, Tachometer, odometer, trip/hour meters, fuel consumption average, gear position, ECO +SPORT modes, Temp engine lights, electronic fuel gauge, Clock + more.

Used Sport mode on my '22 "S" model this past Summer. Running with some other bikes, I turned it on. During a hard right-hand turn I "gassed it" and pulled the front right wheel up in the air.

Turned it off and do not plan on using it again.
