• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wondering how many owners do not know this is possible?

Hi guys, my experience says 3 out of 10 owners do not know that it is possible to open the front trunk without turning off the bike!
Comment here - how many of you were aware of this; and for whom is this new? :)

This was a helpful video Martin. I was aware of this little trick. I discovered it on my own when I first got my Spyder.

I did not know after 5 years of Spyder ownership. The dealer(s) never shared (or knew). Thx Martin :)

Thanks Martin. Additional please don’t have a”senior moment” & forget parking brake or N -accidentally hitting throttle on dismount/remount :lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:nojoke:gaah:

I found out about it the first time I took the bike in for a service. While riding the bike in for service the bike went into limp mode. I called the shop and told them. They said pull it in and leave it running. They would have their tech and laptop ready. When I got there the service tech popped open the frunk with the bike running and plugged in his laptop.

Yes, I have always been aware of this possibility since I got my Spyder in 2015. Still thanks Martin for teaching this as it appears that many do realize it.
