There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2024 F3S - is a grip change possible? Or am I stuck with OEM?

I bought a 2024 F3S about 4-weeks ago, as a step up from a 2022 Ryker. On the Ryker I had some really comfortable aftermarket grips and were easily changed out from the (oem) stock grips that came from Can-Am. I bought the same grips for the F3S but have been unable to put them on because the throttle tube and the grip appear to be one piece. Is this the case? I think the only option would be to cut the grip from the throttle tube, BUT they look to be one piece, and I don't want to really screw it up. Is the throttle grip able to be removed from the throttle tube? Or am I stuck with OEM? I don't care for the foam or (like) leather covers that go over the stock grips. I like the other for comfort and style. Please let me know. Thanks

Going online and looking at the break down of the grips it looks like a one-piece assembly, but the grip part maybe molded over a tube on the assembly. :dontknow: Do you have handwarmers? If I was going to dig into it I would start on the left side because it looks like that one is just held on the bar with a couple screws to the pipe. The throttle side has the wiring for the fly by wire throttle and I would not want to replace that one in case you had to abort the mission!! Anyway, good luck. Hope someone else can help more!!

That was exactly why I came here to ask so I didn't ruin the grip and be SOL. No heated grips they are just the plain stock grips. I was able to remove the left grip. Like you said dropped 2 screws and came right off. But that throttle... ya, I thought I'd better ask. Bummer! As much customizable stuff and mods that're out there, you'd think that would have been one of the most common thing people would want to do. Anyone else got any ideas?

I put a bunch of miles on a couple of DR650s back in the day, and changed out the grips on each bike. Those had the factory grip fused to the throttle tube too, as if they'd somehow been dipped in the rubber. It was a tedious job, but it just amounted to cutting and peeling the rubber off, a bit at a time. Work patiently, and no harm done. In my experience, at least. Good luck!

I have the same question. The 2025 F3S does offer heated grips (Part 219401286). Asked our local dealer… they didn’t know if I could install these on our 2024. The ‘24 does have the heated grip menu on the bike, so I’m leaning toward these will work. Dealer said the grips will not be available until end of October.

Were you able to get the heated grips installed on your '24?
