• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit - not comfortable??

I installed the SpyderExtras Billet Aluminum Handlebar Riser Kit thinking it might make the ride a bit more comfortable, but I'm not sure that it is really as comfortable as stock. I know that when I added a riser to my Versys 650 it was much more comfortable. So now I'm wondering if I should go back to stock to see if the riser was worth it or not, or give it a bit more time to see if it gets better. I would hate to have to remove it after spending about a hundred and thirty bucks for it (needed to extra long bolts because of the added docking station). With all that said, has anyone else had this experience with the riser not being as comfortable?

Were you trying to accomplish a higher bar or a setback bar? There is a lot to consider when moving handlebars.

Easy test. Sit on Spyder as you would normally would.

Get settled, close yours eyes and without favoritism, reach towards the bars, eyes closed and see if your hands fall onto the grips.

If you need to fudge that, chances are, the bars are incorrectly positioned.

As for what you bought and paid for, return them to Spyder Extras for a full refund if needed.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. I do know that when I am riding my left arm is much more comfortable when I have the heel of my hand resting on the grip rather than holding the grip. So, as mentioned above, probably a bit more setback than I need. Wish I had tried this before I purchased. And thanks for the info about returning.

Something else to consider is that all of the available optional handlebars for the F3 will fit on your 24 RT. For my needs, the F3 Attitude bars brought them back just enough, but the biggest comfort increase is the much different wrist angle with these bars. This is without any riser installed. The optional handlebars cost about the same as what you paid for risers. Sometimes they can be found in the for sale section here.

The controls on the 2024 will not fit on previous bars. BRP will have different bars, but dealer told me that they are not available yet.
