I'm glad you are enjoying the Rally and hope you get your handlebar issues sorted. I am very envious of the beautiful views on your ride.
Had a problem today where the cruise control would not engage.
When I got home, I noticed the rear brake light wouldn't turn off. I had to do an engine restart and then depress the brake pedal hard before it would turn off.
The brakes weren't on, so I'm wondering if there is a wonky sensor? It would explain why the CC wouldn't engage if it was getting a signal the brake was on.
Has anyone else experienced this with their Ryker?

A common problem for those that do gravel or dirt roads. I noticed you mentioned it in a earlier post. Crud in the brake switch actuator will keep the switch from disengaging. This tells the cruise control that you have applied the brake. That shuts off the cruise control. A quick fix, just check the switch.
Cheers Sarah...so many recalls!! Hadn't heard of that one, will check it out
EDIT: Yip it's in the recall, requires adjustment plus a new spring. I will get on to my dealer next week. Hopefully they will agree to just send me the spring as they are 3hrs away.
