• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else found an RT without the wire for lower front Auxiliary light?

Between myself and numerous friends, we have all bought and installed the lower front auxiliary light on 2020 through 2023 RT's. Today I went to install one on another friends' 2022 RTL and found that there is no wire harness attached to the blanking plate installed in that location. I tried to look around and fish around through the hole to see if the wire connector was laying loose but with no luck. This is one of those bikes that shipped from the factory without some parts, notably the rear heated grips and switch. Has anyone else found a RTL without this wire? I assume that I'll have to remove the frunk to try to find the wire IF it's there...

My 21 RT base had the wire behind the plastic plate. When I bought the light it came with a wire for that light.

It is not included in the Japanese specification. Could it be a specification error on the production line? I feel like such mistakes can happen with BRP.

The wiring is not fitted to European and British bikes as the lights are illegal here, same as the front accent lights are illegal.

My friend has decided to take the bike back to the dealer to have them find and/or install the wire. Fingers crossed!

UPDATE!! The bike did not have the wire installed from the factory. My friend allowed the dealer to fabricate a wire to the front aux light and all is well with him now. This bike came from the factory without the pax heated grips and switch and now this. I wonder what else might be missing?

Shouldn’t your friend request the BRP factory to ship the switch, wiring harness and pax grips to your dealer and install at no charge? Seems to me those items were paid for when your friend bought the Spyder.

He did eventually get the grips and switch and the dealer installed them. It's only recently that he decided to add the front Auxiliary Light and we found the wiring was missing.
