• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 Models Are On the Can-Am Site

I haven't received any emails about the 2024 lineup. I noticed a post on Instagram, but it really wasn't something that screamed look at me.
The only thing I've found so far that may make a lot of you happy is the new 10.25" display with integrated BRP GO and Apple Car Play...I'm a google maps user.

Anyway, it looks pretty cool. Also the new S2S is Vegas White. I haven't checked all the models and changes, but 1 thing I'll say is I'm glad I bought mine when I did. $26K+ for the base RT. Gadzooks!

What are your thoughts?

I think BRP will price them self out of the market if they keep going up $2000.00 every year. The F3-T is now $24,699

I personally love the addition of CarPlay. I can use the apps that I want instead of the few avaialbe to BRPGo. The white S2S doesn't really excite me, but the seat looks good, and I like the rims. If mine wasn't paid off........... nah. I'm good for a while.

The price increase is par with life at this point. Most things are more expensive. There are many theories/reasons to why which. That can lead down many rabbit holes that'll be frowned upon on this site. I say all that to say this, I don't think they will price themselves out. A smart/good business will adjust accordingly to retain and gain customers. Some will fail in doing so for reasons such as spending too much of their budget on fluff and having to pass that price to the customers.

The unfortunate thing from my POV isn't even the cost of the machines, it's the lack of growth in personal income/wealth while the cost of other items...even recreational/luxury items(which by most people standards are what Spyders are) continue to out pace personal finance by a large margin.

So, those who can afford to buy will still buy them. I don't think roughly 3' of additional display costs $2K, but what do I know...? I'm just here to ryde :)

I like the addition of CarPlay and LED lights to the F3 line-up. I did notice that while they're adding the backrest to both the F3 Limited Special Series and the RT Limited Sea to Sky, the F3 Limited Special Series no longer comes with foglights standard.

Overall okay'ish upgrades but nothing that makes me wish I had waited to buy mine...especially when most of the additions were available via the aftermarket anyway. Personally, I like my TricLED F3 Limited headlight modules better since I get DRLs and turn signals integrated.

my computer does not like that web address you posted. Will not go to either one.

I think a lot of people have forgotten that the spyder prices actually went down in 2019. In 2018 and a few years prior, a RTL was running $30k. Prices actually were lower for the new body style in 2020 than it was 2 years before. I am still not one to pay those prices, but some will.

Thank you for posting the information link for the new 2024's.

They are getting a bit pricey.

Extra 3" of display was needed. The choice of Apple CarPlay vs Android Auto is controversial as most new cars are using Android OS now, and Apple users only comprise of about 28% of the market share compared to 71% Android at this point.
Markup is not insane and follows the inflation rates (which in itself is also controversial on a political and economic level I won't begin to touch).

I think it's nice. Extra 3" and at least one phone connectivity option for about $2k. Sea n' Sky is white instead of green or blue.
F3 got a light refresh and a backrest standard on the up-trim.

Of course new colorations, why can't they just say colors?
The F3 base is gone so the entry level Spyder is 22+ and BRP added an available package adding 4G to the price. I haven't added them up yet.
The new display looks nice and I noticed a new left thumb control center. Apple car play, still gotta plug that puppy in though.
Reading the text of the announcement and on the heels of a FB electric teaser, BRP pushed back the announcement of electric models.
I'm excited for the whole thing really.
I'm wondering however, for that enhanced experience is BRP still using that hit or miss DESS module? ;-)
