• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the BRP Contest email legit?

Today I got an email about entering a contest to win a BRP on road vehicle. As is my habit, I do not open this type of solicitation as most of them are scams. Just wondering if anyone else know if this is legitimate?
Sure don't want to pass up a chance for a freebie..... Jim

A Prize for Me?

:chat:...Nothing yet. All I have is about 'Black Friday' is coming up. This was from BRP?

Stay Healthy. ....

Did you look at the email header to see where it actually came from?

The header says [email protected] It does look legit but wondering why I would get this and others do not? Maybe I'm already a winner......

For curiosity's sake post the entire header here, obliterating your email address. I also sent you a PM with my email address. I'd like for you to forward me the email. Make sure to use the option to include the entire header, otherwise it'll get stripped off.

If you use MS Office outlook, open the email than click on word file at the top left side, Now click on properties, now look at the internet headers block and there will be a list of where it came from look at the last entry to see where it started.

It's legit. The link takes you to https://can-am.brp.com/. You have to enter the drawing to get a chance to win. I think they're counting on people automatically checking a box in the entry form page that will put them on Can-Am's mailing list for promos and all kinds of other emails.

On the plus side, your chances of winning are a whole lot better than with a Power Ball ticket! :2thumbs:

Nope nothing about a contest; black Friday& an apology previous email was flawed.:bbq::popcorn:
