There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Auxilary lighting for night driving - anyone tried Denali D2's?

We have a 2017 RT and find riding at night difficult because the lighting is not as bright as we want. Considering Denali D2's. Looking for input from anyone who has installed and used them. Do you like them? How did you install them?

I installed Denali D2's on my Honda NT700V some 10 years ago and I have been very pleased with the quality, durability, and light output. I can really recommend them, and while not exactly cheap, the quality is there.
I cannot comment on installation as I put them on a motorcycle and not my Spyder, but generally I can say that I was able to install the lights myself somehow without remembering exactly how, but my install was quite elaborate in that they come on with high beam only, and I also put on a kill switch for them in case they turned out to be too bright so I can turn on just the original high beam on the motorcycle.

I have looked at the Denali's and have seen them in action on Video's ( from private owners - not company shills ) I was impressed. However money now being tight I bought a pair of in-expensive LED headlights. I had no choice, because one of mine had failed. I reported on them a few months back, on a different thread. They made by Fahren .... They were less than $40.00 per pair ( delivered ). They are way better than the ones I had from TriCled. They can be focused, if necessary ( mine were fine ) .... I'm 75 and my night vision S*cks ..... My desire for the Denali's is now on hold ( maybe forever ) ..... good luck .... Mike .... PS if you want more info on them PM me .....

Denalis are the way to go. Twisted Throttle is a good company to do business with. You won't be disappointed.

Mike - So where did you mount your added lights and how did you switch them. Just curious as I have a set of Denalis taken off a motorcycle before sale. As a result this would be a very inexpensive addition. I'm almost inclined to just switch them with the fog light switch. I don't like cluttering the cockpit with a lot of unnecessary switchs.

I have used several Denalis (D7s and now D3s). They are very well made and the optics are best in class. Support is top notch. They are more expensive - but they do not compromise on any front. Extra lighting is important. What ever you choose. If Denalis are not in the picture right now, use what you can afford now, save for the Denalis - they are worth the wait. :)

If I'm the " Mike " ...... I decided the " Denali's " weren't in my current budget :banghead: .... So I tried the Fahren LED HEADLITE units ..... and they produced a way better light than TriCled's LED did for about $ 40.00 per pair ...... Mike

Re: Mounting the lights.
I fashioned metal brackets to mount my Denalis using the 2 forward frunk pop rivets. Bracket is sandwiched between the frunk basket and the forward outer 'skin'. I installed a switch in the blank spot on the console and tapped the power for the chin light.
