• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's my 2022 Sea to Sky RT

Picked it up Friday - rode it home about 90 miles. About 20 miles in I was comfortable and grinning ear to ear.

Pic is at delivery - I will try to get some more this week but I have been working. I was able to ride to work this morning, and I was still smiling! I have yet to even program radio stations or get the bluetooth hooked to my phone.

Very Nice. And the dealer wasn't even waiting on any missing components ?

They were, but I called right when they received them and were installing (same as every one else it seems - windshield motor and park brake components). The unit was not a pre-order, and nobody else had called or asked about it when I told them over the phone I would buy it. I'm still waiting on the re-sized axle bolt for the hitch. They have the trailer wiring installed. They said quick 20-30 minute install when it comes in - good excuse for a ride.

Congratulations on your new Spyder Sea to Sky. I have only seen them in pictures and was wondering your impression of the satin paint finish. Thanks.

Woodenfish - This is the first satin (or matte) finish vehicle of any kind I have owned. The color can look either "off" black or deep blue depending on lighting and angle of viewing. I definitely like how it looks - a lot. I will know how much I like it once I try to wash the bugs of of it. As mentioned, I have not had to care for this type of paint before..........

Hey Artie - I will get some pics up as soon as I can - busy couple of weeks with training and some travel for work. I looked at a '21 S2S and almost pulled the trigger, but I had a plan, and a new bike didn't fit until this year. I liked the green pretty well, but the blue I like better. (The '21 package deal was a little better if you ask me - but I had to stick to plan!)

We are located in north central IL, about 6 hours north of you.

Whatever you do don’t wax or polish it, just wash it with a mild soap meant for washing vehicles that doesn’t have a wax in it. If you wax it it will change the finish and could get streaky and unsightly. I hope to see one in person. What part of Illinois do you live. I’m in Will County.
