• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Which LED headlight kit? Lamonster or Slingmod

Currently trading my 2014 RT Limited for a 2015 F3 S. I am wanting to convert the headlights to LED. I was wondering what kit folks had the most success with or if there is one that is preferred. I do plan on having the dealership do the conversion. I watched the video and there are just too many parts to take off and put back on. Plus I dont have the various tools needed.

Any input would be appreciated.

I had a 2020 F3 basic, I used the LaMonster lights, very easy plug and play! No splicing, great brite LED lights. I did both head lights and fog lights! Just my suggestion!

AND, by using the Lamonster kit, it helps keep this Forum up & running for us all to use, sharing info & experiences with the broader Spyder community too! :ohyea:  :2thumbs:

Yes, like JKMspyder, I installed both headlights and fog lights myself! Saved some money and learned more about working on my Spyder.

I had really good luck with the LED headlights from SlingMod, TricLED.com is the website. Really easy to install, did not require any cutting or modification. They are really bright!
