I went and put a deposit on a 2022 RT Limited on Friday. Went with the deep marsala/chrome. It's supposed to be coming in in March (we shall see). The dealer said that the prices are supposed to be going up but my price is locked in. I mentioned on a couple threads that on Can Am's website the commodity surcharge went up to $765. Time to start looking for some new gear and planning upgrades. I can't wait:2thumbs:

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update on commodity surcharge. There is a post on here that says it is now $1,000.00. Had a similar experience. I ordered a keyboard through Amazon. The price went up twice (10.00 each time) while I was waiting for it. I got it at the order price on the day I hit the purchase button so saved $20.
Just checked. Still shows $765.

Yes the $1,000.00 commodity surcharge post was from me, it was a Canadian price increase. I put a deposit on a 2022 RT Limited about 2 months ago to lock in the price on a pre-order for hopefully March delivery. If I were to purchase it today with the BRP commodity surcharge increase and it appears there are less discounts being given, as the local dealer is selling every unit he can get his hands on I would be paying almost $2,000.00 more for it if I purchased today.

Yeah it’s been a tough winter here in Nebraska. Today it was 55 tomorrow will be in the 60s and Christmas will be rideable again. What all that means is February March and April will be a goat rope.
