• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What type of modifacation needs to be done? Cutting or grinding?

Has anyone done this mode yet? Any photos that can be posted?

I'm waiting for you to do it. :2thumbs:
Ok, you got me. However before I start grinding my BRP windshield, I was wondering who else out there did theirs already. I'm pretty good with my hands when it comes to jewelry, (been at the bench since 1975)...
Before I break out the big one (Dremel that is), I would love to see who else has done the deed .

:gaah:pass the butter please

I have the ultra windshield and ESI 4" risers , but I have very little issues seeing the mirrors and behind. I kind a like the way the windshield and the mirrors protect my hands from the wind. I see no need for mirror extentions.

Motz,

Just get the CHAD and put on the extensions...then you'll get two mods at one time!
Bone's
Way to late... I have the BRP 25"er's on for 3 months, and I already have the extentions, I just have to take the time to install them. I'll keep you posted.

Have you looked in the mirror lately... :yikes:

If you used Robobrackets, would it clear then?
Can you use the Robobrackets with the BRP 25'' windshield?
That would be a nice mod and you would not have to grind away any windshield.

Hey Evan think it's worth a try?
:dontknow:

Some ryders have used the Robobrackets with the BRP touring shield and they seem happy with the results. I was going to combine that setup with the up and out extenders, but I ended up installing bar end convex mirrors instead, and I have no further problems with rearward visibility. Still, I'm curious to know if the combo idea works.

Bones why does the CHAD bracket look like a copy of the Robobracket? I thought they are from two seperate companies...so who's is better? Why hasn't Robobracket advertised on this forum yet, they seem to have a well made product too? :dontknow:

The CHAD bracket is a copy of the original Madstad adjustable bracket. The Robobracket is Madstad's newest design and it's really quite a bit different than the CHAD. When we were doing Robobracket testing this past summer, they said they were going to advertise here but I still don't see them. Not sure why. :dontknow:
