• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Will older Pit Bull lifts work on 2020 RT Limited?

I have a couple older PB lifts, one has to be well over 10 years old and the other which is newer, wider width wise as well as longer lift bars (ones with the rubber attached that go under the frame)?

TIA

I don't see why not. The underneath frame doesn't appear to be any different than the 2015 RTL I traded in.

I don’t know why, but my 15 year old PB style lift worked brilliantly under my Rocket III, Victory Vision and ‘16 F3-L, but under my new ‘21 RT-L, the Spyder lists (dangerously) to the left as it gets higher. Mind you, I have just bought a rapid style lift, with a 4” circular head, and even when it is centred under the frame, the same thing happens. I had to raise the RT 2 inches, lift my jack stands, raise another 2 inches, lift my jack stands about 10 nervous times to change my sway bar.
…….while writing this, I have just wondered whether the large, heavy tool bag in the left saddlebag might have something to do with it. I doubt it, but I’ll do some testing…..

This is NOT saying your PB won’t work in your circumstances. It is just my personal observation and is something to watch when you use yours.

My PB is 10+ years old and work very well with my 2016 RTL as well as my buddy’s 21 Sea and Sky.

Yes, it does lean a little left as you’re raising the bike but straightens out as you go higher. It doesn’t lean nearly enough for the bike to slide off but the first couple of times you lift it you have a small OMG moment, kinda like the first time you pull any Tupperware off.

Interesting……thanks Dan, that is very valuable feedback. I do believe mine WOULD slip off. It takes a light little finger of pressure to move the left side up and down……and it didn’t get any better the higher I went. I will investigate further.
