• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Removing the tail light

I'm fitting a towbar to my GS and adding an isolator for the trailer lights (pics soon).

While I was under the seat on the weekend, I thought I'd have a look at pulling the tail light off (because of the limp mode stupidity).

I read the manual, and managed to find the screw behind the tail light, (near the bulb receptacle) but no way could I see or feel the one that is beside the tail light. The pic in the manual is almost useless because it is taken from behind the bike. It doesn't show how far forward the screw is.

Could someone give me an estimate? An actual measurement? A picture?

Cheers;

Pogo.

Thanks mate!

Docdoru, that's brilliant! :2thumbs: Thank you very much. Now that I know where to look, I'll be able to pull the tail lights and fit some LED globes.
