Brand new tires (OEM) Brand new Tire Pressures???

After getting the tires from the dealer, as I always do, I checked the tire pressures the next day at cold.

"Ride Now" set the rear at 26PSI and the fronts at 23PSI. I called them questioning the tire pressures and they told me that BRP now recommends these tire pressures.

Has anyone heard about these new tire pressure recommendations from BRP??

I look forward to the answers you get. When I had my F3t serviced, last fall, they had filled my front tires to about 23 psi, also. I figured it was a mistake, and took air out.

Me too. 17psi front and 23psi rear I use for one-up ryding. Two-up probably needs higher pressure and my repairer sets them that way. I reset them as soon as I get home.

My 2016 and my wife's 2017 F3's are 18 front and 28 rear.

If BRP has changed their tire pressure recommendations they did not up date the 2021 owners manual. My manual for my 2021 RTL says Tire Pressure and Maximum Load is 20 psi front/cold and 28 psi rear/cold found on page 88 and page 146 both.

I've got the OEM Kenda on the rear and run it at about 27#. When I had the OEM Kendas on the front, I ran them at about 18#. FWIW, I weigh about 300#.

I increased my tire pressure from 17 to 22PSI. Just got back from a ride. 22PSI is definitely too much. It handles better but is bumpy on the highway. I think 20PSI will be the sweet spot. I will try that next. Thanks for all your inputs.

As far as dealerships, what they suggest is all over the map (I called 3 of them). I called BRP, they said call the dealerships. Ugh!

Its going to come down to personal preference and experimentation I realize now.

Probably should have bought different tires to begin with.

My wife bought a Toyota a coupe of years ago. Door sticker calls for 34 psi. After a couple of weeks of use, I decided to check the tires. I dunno what the dealer delivered it with, but the (cold) tires were still up at 50 psi!

Holy Cow man, that's 2 up! Just kidding you. Some of us are built big and some of us aren't. I run the same PSI 1 up or 2 up. 16 and 20 cold. Our total weight 2 up would be 320#, LLPOF.

The tech checked the sidewalls, they stated "Max pressure 50lbs"... He was probably ASS certified.... LOL

Actually I was referring to the picture of the manual that i posted, it looks fuzzy to me. Im technology challenged. You might find my previous post asking how to post pictures. I personally couldn't read what I posted, later I learned to click my blurry image and it opened clear as day.
