• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What the heck is this?

Here the owners pickup.

Wow, fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Yeah, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, but ugly goes clear to the bone.

:lecturef_smilie:Careful it's part of a shadowy subculture from Japan.
They go around terrorising leather seams at every opportunity.:ohyea:

Maybe the owner's an Annubis 'look-alike'?? :dontknow:
Or possibly want their Spyder to be one?!

What's that you say?? NO.... it's not working!? Ya think??

Back in the early Spyder days (2008/2009) there was a windshield manufacture on here from FL. that was starting to manufacture fairings for Spyders...He suddenly closed up shop and moved back over seas...I Can't remember his name or the name of his company but I had several of his shields on my 2008 GS bike...Each one I purchased worked better than the previous one and overall they were pretty good...There was a big demand for his shields after the production stopped...If I remember correctly he produced and sold several of his fairing kits for the GS bikes...I think he called them RT kits, this was just before the 2010 RT's came to market...I'm not sure they were quite as ugly as this but they were close...Surely someone on here can come up with his name or his company name???? larryd

Maybe he don't like the wind in his face!!:dontknow:That's what makes the world go around!!

I think He was German and made some various parts for the early Spyders .... including a drive sprocket that would lower your revs in 5th gear .... it worked but, was made from alumin. and wore out fairly early ..... I actually bought one of His touring windshields, it had a re-curve at the top and worked quite well. He stopped production in 2012 or 2013 ..... Mike

Maybe he found it on the side of the road from a Harley that shed it along with other assorted pieces that shook off? :dontknow:
