• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"zero" the dps and other settings without going to the dealer? I know some systems you can zero by unplugging a plug or grounding a particular pin in a plug.

Personally, I would not disconnect my DPS. You are doing it at your own risks, remember that! :lecturef_smilie:

Just operating a Spyder is by your own risk.....especially since BRP's current software fixes seem to have caused some people who never had steering and controlability problems, to experience them.

Not talking about...

disconnecting the DPS. I'm talking about resetting the system(s) back to "0" so it can re-learn the pointers needed to operate correctly. The two we ride regularly are doing fine. I'm just curious.

Happy Owner! And having a ball building twin manifolds and custom muffler hangers. /Ken

I think your getting confused with VSS (vehical stabability system) this is not the same thing. The DPS is the power steering function only.

which fuse the se5 will throw a code and not shift with the dps fuse pulled.

Mine shifts normally with both fuses pulled. I do not get any message on the dash telling me to check DPS either.
