• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3S Saddlebags

Is there a set of textile soft saddlebags that fit?

That depends on your definition of "fit". I mounted a set of Givi soft saddlebags using a set of EZ brackets. I had to make a set of simple backing plates out of 1/4 plywood but the process was pretty easy and they are quick to remove.

I was looking at a set (I can't remember the brand), they were well rated and they claim to be "universal". I'm leery since the seats are so wide and we don't have the frame structure like a sport bike or adventure bike. They did say that their product was 100% refundable if it doesn't fit. I think they said it would fit and don't really know what the bike is LOL.

EZbrackets make mounts that are specific to the F3. They mount on the passenger hand rails and are secured with locks. The bags are easily removable. However, you are on your own as to mounting the bags. I found it a simple job to mount the GIVI bags. It took about 2 hours in the shop.

Hi OK - you mention putting some plywood for support on the Givi bag. Was that really needed or you just felt you needed the extra support? I am also looking at the Givi bag with easy bracket but thought the bag has a “harder” inside wall on the bags that can mount to the bracket?

I sent you a message. The short answer is that the Givi bags don't need extra support.

You might also check out Hopnel brand. Both Spyderpops and Lamonster Garage have them. I have a complete set for my F3L and use them as liner/suitcases. Bought a set of four for around $100. They average $25 each.

Am guessing that somewhere in their line they should have the softies you are looking for.
