• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What do I do for a NYS Inspection during Covid-19?

We all know that NYS inspections on all motorcycles/trikes etc is normally due by April 30. But with most (all?) bike shops closed due to Covid-19, has the state announced any policy for forgiveness/extension of the inspection requirement yet?

Thanks!

Hey Newbert! We rode together iast summer, you met us at the Stewarts in Northville. NYS inspections last a year from whenever you get it done. Mine runs out in Sept. Stay healthy.

Really? That's not what I was told at DMV a few years ago.... In any case, mine does expire on 4/30. And as far as I can tell no motorcycle shops are open around here....

Relying on what your are told here is just plain foolish ..... you are the one who gets the ticket ..... call, e-mail your DMV and get a legal answer .... Mike :ohyea:

I just looked online and Progressive Motorsports in Hudson Falls and Artic Adventures in Rosendale are open according to their web sites. Why don't you call them to find out?

I rode past Progressive, a local Harley dealer and another cycle shop on Friday and all looked closed to me. Hence the reason for starting this thread.

But I'll give Progressive a call this week just to be sure.

Thanks!

How do we register a new Spyder being purchased from another state? Guess the temp. Plate is sufficient until further notice as well? Can’t register online and all offices are closed.
