• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hand Grips

I think there's really only one real fix to this problem :dontknow: All ya gotta do is strap down all the safety valves, fit super-conductor bus-bars instead of fuses, and crank the wattage AND the voltage up to mega-barstewardry level so that you get more raw power to the Flux Capacitor!! If you crank that capacitor up to the beejeezus so that you dim the lights and increase the power to the hand-grip elements til they glow, you'll get all the heat you'll ever need from those hand-grips (might melt the rubbery covers tho! ) and then your hands will be kept toasty warm.... :ohyea: Well, at least until they catch alight & you hafta use something like liquid nitrogen to cool them down again!! :yikes: :helpsmilie:

Buuut seriously now, nojoke I reckon there's not much you can do to improve the F3's hand-grip heat output short of going after-market or over-clocking the power to the stock units, and either of those options brings a whole 'nuther lot of problems to over-come along with it!! :gaah: Maybe you'd be better off looking at heated gloves or mittens, liners, etc?! :dontknow:

Anyone come up with a fix to get more heat out of the heated grips on the F3 Limited ?

Hand grips for snow-mobiles are required to get much warmer than the ones for Mtc's. ..... I think they would fit like the OEM's ..... good luck ..... Mike :ohyea:

Hand guards like seen on dirt bikes and most adventure bikes really help a lot as they block the wind and allow the grips to be more effective. I have them on all my bikes, but haven't found a set that will adapt easily to my 2015 Spyder RT. The search continues though.

Same problem here on the new F3, and compared to the ones on the 2014 RT, they are not as warm.

My solution is heavier winter weight gloves if I choose to ride in the cold. I have a couple pairs on hand from my Alaska riding days.
