Saturday Yankee's Tavern Ride

The weather is suppose to be great this weekend--highs in the 70's. Any Houston/San Antonio/Austin area ryders interested in lunch this Saturday (October 10th) at Yankee's Tavern in Carlos? Meet/eat 12:30 p.m.

For Houston area folks, based on who's interested, we can determine a meet place by Thursday or Friday this week.

Well getting the upgrade to the upgrade done Saturday morning. They said a couple of hours, might be able to meet y'all there.

Based on the responses tonight, it may be just 3wheel and me that show up. Should be nice weather though.

3WD--Got any suggestions about where you want to meet up? By my calculations, Yankee's is roughly 65-70 miles from here. Leaving at 10:30 or so from some place around here should get us there at 12:30. What ya want to do?

I am not very familiar with your side of town but I have been in the store Gander Mountain of 290 and Hvy. 6 (19820 Hempstead Rd, Houston, TX‎ 832-237-7900‎). Is their parking lot a good place for you to meet at 10:30?

PS: I sent a text to Ozzie and he is going to try to make it, will let us know tonight. Also sent a PM to Chris.

I am not very familiar with your side of town but I have been in the store Gander Mountain of 290 and Hvy. 6 (19820 Hempstead Rd, Houston, TX‎ 832-237-7900‎). Is their parking lot a good place for you to meet at 10:30?

Great ride today to Yankee's. A little chilly and damp, but the food and fellowship made up for that. Good to see 3wheel, Ed and Dave. 3090 is a workout; never been on that road before.

3wheel's gonna plan something down his way next time.

Sorry I missed it also, had my 3K and the up-grades done yesterday in Austin, all is well, rode her back to Killeen and no problems so far, it rode sweet.

That's good to know. Got my update to the update scheduled next week; hope everything goes well. Ed (Arch) from the Houston group had his done yesterday before the ride and he said it ran great.

I agree 3090 was fun. Never expected those twisties so close to Houston!
