So I want to take this as good news that will eliminate the hassle of getting a dealer to put on a car tire.
Questions I have, is Kenda known for making a decent tire of any type (if no it doesn't mean this one isn't good, just not a great indicator) and since it "looks" more car tire spec size does that meant dealers may be more forgiving about putting on a car tire that is rated for the rim than they are now?
:lecturef_smilie: big “IF” nojoke bout the only Kenda tire that might get good mileagehttps://www.motosport.com/product/?...dger-street&variant=KDAA00B-X001-Y001&variant[KDAA009]=KDAA009-X001-Y001&variant[KDAA00A]=KDAA00A-X001-Y001
$230 for All 3 isn't bad if their decent?
As you can see not much information out there yet.

I kinda doubt it. I do remember that the sidewall on my Kenda Kanine says "For Motorcycle Use Only". My dealer asked if that was on there and I said yes. He said, "OK, then I can install it". All the dealers in this neck of the woods won't substitute car tires on the Spyder.
It says:
Max load 400kg(882lbs)at max inflation pressure 30psi
standard rim 7.0J
orig Kenda rear tyre
......Just doing a basic scale-up using the max pressures would lead me to believe that the normal inflation pressure for the new Kenda Kanine tire should be about 40 psi? That seems kinda high. Any tire guru's care to chime in? I'm certainly no tire expert.
Ok, I got my "better half" to read off the information from the Kanine rear tire I have in the garage. Here it is (it's all Greek to me):
005A (circled)
DOT 1K3 Max Load 400 kg (882 lbs.) AT
Max Press 300 kPa (44psi) COLD
For Special Motorcycle Use Only

Make any sense to anyone?
