• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When I was speaking to Imotorsports (a SL sponsor), yesterday to finalize numbers, I was offered the three year additional BEST Warranty for $671.00. Tom, stated he believes this is one of the lowest prices now offered anywhere. This price is for everyone who is interested. I told him I would mention this to all.

Dealers are quoting prices for the warranty all over the map. Mine would not budge from $1200. There have been a few dealers mentioned here that are selling it at $671.

Not every state allows purchasing BEST warranties. Florida, for whatever reason, is one of them.

Yes, that is their normal price. I bought my 2016 F3T from them in 2017. I added the 3 year BEST warranty about 2 months before my original expired and they gave me that price. Very good people.

Can you buy a BEST warranty from a different dealer than you buy your Spyder ?

Tom told me that was their everyday price.

You folks know me...did I buy the extended warranty? No I did not. I have two years to decide before the OEM warranty runs out. Being the CPA accountant type, I don't know what the situation is going to be two years from now. At 74, the future is open to what happens.

I will buy the extended warranty before the OEM runs out...just not going to put the money up front. Tom had no problem with that.

No guarantees it will be still as advertised in two years...but...the key words here are LOWEST price offered by anyone.
