• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration GONE

Didn't Docs tensioner warranty say "Entire kit will be warranted against defects and roller and bearings will be 2 years, regardless of mileage"?
Maybe he didn't know you had 1-1/2 year with this failure.
No, I ran it 1 1/2 years for 50,000 miles.

I had the ‘Million Mile’ dampener from Roadster Renovations on my F3T and it failed at less than 50,000 miles, wrecked my belt. I sent Doc a photo and his reply was a thumbs up emoji. Not a happy customer here.

Was it just the roller that failed, or did the bearings fail causing the roller to fail also?

Ms SpyderAnn01,

Did Doc get back with you on this? I just put one of these on my bike, and I'd like to know how this goes.

I don’t recall what his warranty said but I do know he refers to it as a ‘million mile’ tensioner

As I said when I sent him a picture and told him what happened his reply was a thumbs up emoji. I then asked if he had repair parts or if the unit was junk and he never responded. Joe sent him an email and he has not responded to that either.

Ms. SpyderAnne01,

Talked with Doc at Roadster Renovations, he said call him at 812-371-9033 and ya'll can talk.

Seems like I read on his site or in the paper that came with my belt tensioner for my '17 RT the tensioner only had 1 or 2 yr warranty. I havent installed it yet so its probally expired waranty now. His 'Million Mile' I believe is, he has had enought tensoners sold an the mileage on them all combined totaled up to a million miles. Not that the thing would last a million miles.
