• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. BRP stopped making parts for 2015 RS already.

Rumors? I have better things to do than that.
(BRP is just not making them anymore apparently)

BRP never made those parts. Bearings and seals for most anything are outsourced parts. I should also point out that most cities have business that specialize in bearings and related products. These in MNSHO, are the best place to get quality and cost savings. They can cross reference the bearing/seal numbers to get same size from a quality manufacturer and help to assure you don't end up with Asian knock offs.

Guys, the bearings for the wheels are very much still available from BRP. Whatever dealer gave this information is misinformed. Part numbers change all the time, you have to follow the superseded part numbers. Seems every time they change a spec or supplier.

Interesting tidbit on the bearings, the OEM ones that come in the bike are chinese. The replacement parts we have been getting are all made in USA or Japan. High quality name brand bearings in BRP packaging. Lastly, all Spyders 2008 to current use the same 2 bearing part numbers so for parts to not be available, they would be discontinuing new spyders.....

The OP has a 2015 with a fixed center hub. Rim design from 2015 to 2019. You are referencing a 2014 with a bolt in center hub. Rim design from 2008 to 2014. But the point is mute. The rear wheels all have the same bearings and seals and will cross fit all models and years except Ryker.

Let's say you are correct, then BRP is wrong. The accessories catalog shows an optional chrome rim and it says will fit 2013 to 2019, RS, ST, F3, RT.

Who said.....

Sound like there are dealers or suppliers that are no longer stocking parts but they are available from several sources including BRP. The fact that you say RS will have you hearing they no longer make that model therefore they do not make any of the parts...Most manufactures use standard bearings except in special applications and having custom ones made is expensive and not interesting to manufacturers unless they see a good market and future in making them....

Yes the design of the rear wheel changed in 2015. But they are all interchangeable. A 2008 wheel or bearings and seals for it, will fit a 2019 Spyder. All of them, and vise versa.

That's all I'm saying. ;)

Also, the bearings have a superseded part number, so there is some kind of difference, but clearly they're interchangeable.
