• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

loisk, I didn't want to hijack your thread....

This is in regards to the Aretha Franklin church service.

But, talk about sensitivity, I'm not sure why this Bishop thought he needed to apologize, for his hand placement. I guess I'm just not that sensitive. Also, some parishioners were offended by Areana Grande's dress. It looked good to me. Oh, the other comment the Bishop made about taco bell, I thought that was funny.

:agree: , but as I understand it some of the church people thought his hand placement and her dress violated their code of behavior in a black church.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. That goes for both those parishioners who found it offensive, and those that didn't.

I don't think I ridiculed anyone. I just stated my opinion.

I don't think your observations are demeaning in any way. I deleted that comment.

Well after all he is not a catholic priest and she is definitely not a little boy. i hope i am not offending anyone by
stating the truth.
I also don't think she should have dressed like that for a funeral.

Wyliec what has this got to do with hijacking my thread ? What is the connection between a church service and my thread ??

If it's about 'sensitivities' in general, I get it... No drama either way, just mystified...

I am thinking this is another thread headed for a short ride.

Linda and I discussed both subjects between us after I read what the "net" had to say.

Needless to say--the speakers at both funerals, and some of the stuff that was said and done, left much to be desired--IMO.

Everything has to be politicized these days. :yikes::yikes:

I will keep my "real" comments between Linda and I. This is NOT the place--IMO

May both people RI Peace.
