• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is the week that my new Champagne Metallic 2017 RTS (the only RTS they had, did not want another Limited) will arrive from imotorsports. I really hope it comes on Thursday August 2nd, as that is our 40th anniversary. What a fitting present for us to give to each other. I spent most of the day today taking stuff off of the "White Lemon", lidlox, ram mount, oversize brake pedal, magic mirror mounts, and some other items, license plate among them. Cancelled the insurance on it today as well. I will be glad to see it gone.

Congratulations, old guy, but that’s rather strange logic re your purchase. You aren’t going to buy another Limited because you had a Limited that was a lemon? You do realise that you could get a lemon in an RTS, don’t you? Or in an F3, or an F3L, or an....... . You probably would have been better off buying a Limited actually, as the chances of getting a lemon with two Limiteds in a row would have been extremely low ;):D:D

It was more about saving money than thinking my present Spyder is a lemon just because it's a Limited, and not really needing or wanting all of the gee-gaws and chrome of the Limited. Besides, the wife is happy with the RTS, as we have ridden a 2016 a few times as a loaner.
 
Congratulations that is a BEAUTIFUL color, and I know the White Lemon let you down, here's hoping (or rather my Confident Expectation) that the replacement will make up for all the troubles.

Deanna, sorry I didn't respond to your question, but no, we are not going this year. Val's mom seems to magically come down with some ailment if we try to get away for any length of time. Actually, she usually starts obsessing about us being away about a week before we actually leave. Last summer, we and our 4 kids spent a week in Rehoboth Beach DE, where we have been going for many years, and Val wanted all of us to be together. It was a nightmare having to listen to the litany of her mom's problems every day, which disappeared the day after we got back. :banghead::banghead:
 
havent figured out why everyone seems to want a limited. when we bought ours
i wanted an S. we love it .has been very reliable after the gp sensor and dess
module were replaced. you can always put on chrome wheels !
congrats on the new purchase. you will love it. pics please when it arrives.

Well, she's old, cranky, has severe anxiety, stubborn, selfish, needs instant gratification, is a total hypochondriac, codependent....need I go on? Did I mention that we have been supporting her for almost 30 years? Or that she's bat-**** crazy? Or maybe I'm just being cynical.:bdh::bdh:

But forget about her, I find out tomorrow when my RTS will get here.:yes::yes:
