• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I am glad to hear that your ECU re-flash was finally successful. Did you also raised the rev limiter to 8600 rpm or left it to 8100?

Ya know, I don't even remember at this point. I had been ironing out the details of the throttle and other specifics with him that it completely slipped my mind. But it is a moot point at this stage since it pulls the way it does! I don't see the need for the additional 500 rpm to be honest! :bowdown:

I looked in my emails and he said there is one in Louisiana and North Carolina but I don't have the addresses. Just call him and get them and give him a heads up that you are sending it back to make sure that whatever place you send it knows it is for a "re-program" and is supposed to be no cost.....
 
For anyone following my journey with the Monster Fuel Flash I have mentioned here and other places on the forum, I would like to report that I have just completed a 160 mile thrashing of my recently re-flashed ECU from Steve. It is finally the way it should have been from the start of this endeavor. It runs like a machine possessed! I had him tweak the throttle control settings and now I don't have to twist as far to get thru the range to WOT. 'Tis a thing of beauty! The throttle feels like it used to on my motorcycles. Crisp, reduced rotation needed and much more sensitive/responsive. This flash works very well!

Now it's all shenanigans all the time! :yes:

For those on the fence about the flash this should remove any doubts I hope....

Mine is a 2018 RTL ,you say tweak the throttle ,now you do not have to twist as far .Can the dealer do this ,as of now you need to grab the throttle twice to get to the end .
